On July 21, 2022, Health Canada introduced the “Supplemented Foods Regulations.” This new regulation sets guidelines for products with added vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. Manufacturers have until December 31, 2025, to comply with these requirements to make the necessary updates.
What does this mean for you? You’ll notice changes to our packaging. Specifically, the Nutrition Facts table will feature a new format that aligns with Health Canada’s supplemented foods regulations.
